Making parts STRONGER [message #54992] Sat, 06 October 2012 23:12 UTC |

I'm wondering if it is possible to post-process these models to make them stronger and stiffer. The "White, Strong and Felxible" material comes out porous, so it's easy to infuse in a fluid using a vacuum pump. I tried Polyurethane and it went inside pretty well, however it didn't make the part any stronger or stiffer as far as I can tell.
Has anyone tried epoxy resins or anything else that works well?

How thick were the test parts? What kind of PUR was it? Checked Alumide vs WSF?
