This price can't be right?

  1. Hi there I uploaded a simple model I did in half hour of this collar. It's literally a tube with sub divisions, converted to poly and is 300mm in diameter.

How is the price as high as €410.28 in WSF at such a simple mesh?

My Arc Reactor kit is more complex but is cheaper (80mm in diameter)

Also while we are on the subject of Euros how can I display Dollars as my default? as Euros are confusing
my buyers and decreasing sales. :confused

    Regards

  2. Paul, what was the models volume? From the diameter being almost a inch, something is off, as thin as it is. Did you upload it as mm, or inches to SW?

  3. Hi and thanks for getting back to me :)

The volume on the collar is
    cm: 30.664 w x 5.932 d x 29.87 h / in: 12.1 w x 2.3 d x 11.8 h
    Vlm = Vol: 306.91 cm³

I may have exported as inches but left the mm default on uploading as all my
    other work :confused

  4. Also on reopening my file this is the Unit setup in Max
    Link

Would the distance from origin not being 0 make a difference? :confused

  5. I think I may have figured it out.

I wanted to fit a circumference of 30 cm not radius of 30 cm

    <a href=" http://www.rkm.com.au/calculators/calculator-circle-sphere.h tml" target="_blank"></a>

    Uploading again...

Here it is 6" in width as I wanted

    In: 5.9 w x 5.9 d x 1.1 h
    Cm: 15.0 w x 15.0 d x 2.9 h
    Vol: 36.41 cm³

  6. Lols, I bet that was it. Mighty big difference in volume. I looked up an old model. An inch cubed in volume in wsf costs around 24 us dollars. 2.54 cubed at least. in volume. :)

  7. Thanks for your help Fredd. If I hadn't have gone back to check units I wouldn't have realised
