I've been building my WSF and FUD models in Solidworks, and I am ready to start experimenting with Full Color Sandstone. Does anybody have advice or a link to a good tutorial on how to get started with this material? I have Solidworks and Photoshop, but I am willing to experiment with freeware if there are better alternatives. Thanks!

Hi.

If you want to try "clay" modelling, Sculptris (free software) it's a funny tool. I've got very beautiful models and also join sculpt parts with mechanic designed parts mixing it in Blender (also free software).

This link could be help if you like colouring your models in sculptris

Solidworks parts can be colored in blender too. Blender has many tutorials in youtube, you can find infinite information about it there.

Ask me if you have any issues.

Regards

Luis
