Hi,

I think I've finally figured out why, sometimes I stop receiving Forum notifications.

The reply-to address in newsletter emails is configured as a bounce address, meaning if I reply to a newsletter, my email address then gets added to the bounce list. Therefore, it seems sensible that the bounce email address should be removed from the reply-to field of the email.

Cheers,
Paul.

It would surprise me if INBOUND invalid addresses are adding you to an OUTBOUND denial list.
You may be correct, but that'd just be odd.

Hi Stony

I can try it if you want. I still have the last newsletter, I can reply and see what happens next... be prepared to get my domain (not just email address) removed from the bounce list asap though.

Cheers,
Paul

Does your server implement grey listing? Well, not your server, but the ones handling the mail on its behalf, athena & hermes.

AFAIK, nope on all levels. I have full control over my email preferences.
In the past my domain (stop4stuff.com), not just email address, has been on Shapeways bounce list - I have two accounts both with stop4stuff.com email addresses, the 2nd account I sent up for testing purposes when I first encountered this issue.
Basically I'm going through a process of elimination as to why my domain occasionally gets onto Shapeways bounce list, and I noticed that the reply-to address for newsletters from Shapeways is a bounce address. This made me think that perhaps replying to the newsletter would trigger a 'bounced email' event (as in the email address didn't exsist), however after testing it doesn't seem to be the case.

Cheers,
Paul
