I took quite some time to set up formatting of my product descriptions including breaks (<br>) and some very laborious cross-linking of products using <a> tags.

These are all gone now and the descriptions look a mess and have no links - when can you fix this?

Can you provide a link to a specific model where this happened?

Sure can:
http://shpws.me/mLaJ
http://shpws.me/mLad
http://shpws.me/q0uZ
http://shpws.me/o7CI

Plus others.

And it happens in Chrome and IE10.

The <br> tags have been a while and the cross-linking a week or so.
