This kit provides the basic body parts to make a HO scale model.

This is what you get.

Paint the parts ( I used acrylic paints ) then remove the roof-walks.

The roof-walk lengths have been corrected in the final design.

If you want to fit truss-rods, drill 4 holes in the floor, as below. I've used EZ line here.

Glaze the windows and add weight now before fitting the roof.
Make the roof from some thin styrene sheet. The main roof is 89x28.5 mm, the cupola is 15x20 mm. Both are scored down the middle to for the shape of the roof.

The smoke stack is one of my roof vents I had spare. It's not quite right, but serves as an example.
Kadee 714 couplers fit between the beams of the chassis.
As far as I can tell, the airbrake cylinder was directly below the cupola, between the wheels. I haven't included one as it would probably get in the way.

The end hand rails are 0.5mm brass rod bent to shape using my HOn30 handrail jig.

Drill holes in the end beam, using the handrails as a guide.

Note, only one handbrake wheel, at the cupola end.
It is sitting on HOn3 caboose trucks.
