I received a lot of models this week.
Here is a global first picture:
I will spoke of the Frankenstein prototypes and the Euro-ring later, in seperate posts (I have a lot of pictures).
For now let have a look at the Inclusions:
It is a tetrahedron surrounding an octahedron surrounding an icosahedron. It is wireframed (so that you can see what is inside ).
These polyhedron are sharing their triangular faces:
- 8 of the 20 faces of the icosahedron are on the octahedron
- 4 of the 8 faces of the octahedron are on teh tetrahedron.
All the vertices of an included polyhedron are located on the edges of the polyhedron that includes it. They divide the edges in the middle or with the golden ratio.

The IcosidodecaLink is composed of 5 links that form a kind of wireframed icosidodecahedron.
The links are moving freely (even though they cannot move a lot). It is not brunnian

And the last model I will discuss here is the Spiral Ring.
There are several models looking like this one available in other shops. This one is quite simple: it is composed of only one thread (2 mm of diameter), and is enough flexible to have an internal diameter from 18 to 20 mm. It is perhaps too thick to act as a ring though. I am wondering if it can do a small decorative object in Stainless Steel...

More news on Monday hopefully...
