|Modeller needed to develop from existing Solidworks file [message #77080] Sat, 19 October 2013 17:04 UTC
I designed a staircase.
I had it manufactured in 8mm steel plate bent into specific shapes and welded together.
This is a real staircase and is installed in my house.
A production specialist used SolidWorks to create the production files used by the steel manufacturer.
We are entering the staircase in an architectural competition and want a 3D model to present it to the judges.
I need a modeller who can take the existing SolidWorks file and add two walls (one with a door) so that the situation of the staircase is more evident and the staircase will be able to stand up. It would be great if this could be two different materials if Shapeways can print that way, or two different objects (walls and stairs) that will click or glue together.
Please explain why we should hire you and how much it would cost.
