This is a ring I recently designed.

I just put it up for sale now, but I've already printed a few for myself, and they look lovely, check some more pictures at the shapeways shop

The idea behind this new collection was to make a contrast between the high end technology that shapeways uses and Nature's soft and imperfect aesthetics.

Since the layering process that Shapeways uses to print metals still lives a lovely texture, I decided to incorporate that as a feature in the collection. it was designed to highlight this imperfection, that many times comes as a nuisance, but here comes as a lovely detail.

I'm still working on some more pictures and also more items, but for now this is what I have.

What do you think?

I've been a member of shapeways for some time now, and year after year I get so surprised to see how this community has grown and how the service, shipment, payment, support, still runs so smoothely, Congratulations to all the Shapeways team!

All the best,

Gonçalo

Nice one!
The texture has really worked well with the design.
