For a very small job (duplication of about a 1 cubic inch, irregularly shaped object), any suggestions on the best place for (both good and cheap) scanning? It's an impossible to find part of an old chair.
Have 3-D costs come down enough so that this is now practical?

Honestly... no I don't think it's practical to scan such a thing yet.

I expect it's easier for someone to model the part after taking a few measurements... Of course I haven't seen the part so I can't be sure...
