My latest ring arrived the other day and this is the first attempt at setting a stone, a 3.5mm Fire Citrine. A pendant also arrived at the same time in a separate package; both were in the flat cardboard envelopes I've seen Shapeways use before, rather than the usual box. I would prefer that Shapeways NOT use packaging like this again. Both envelopes were so crushed that the embossed jewellery boxes inside were completely flattened; the pendant had minor scratching but this ring suffered the most. The band was slightly askew and a couple of the prongs (very delicate) were a little bent. Nothing that I couldn't fix in my studio but I would hate for a customer to have received that.
