I need a smooth bushing. this shouldn't take long at all, I just have no idea how to do it properly. My dimensions are in mm. All I need is the .STL file so I can send it to shapeways.

I have spent hours trying to figure this out and I have no modeling experience. I was able to create it with sketchup8, but it is rather blocky, and not smooth. I know someone can do it better, and I know it can be done easily and fast.

Here is something I made in Blender 3D (totally freeware ) if you know Sketchup, blender is easier. also they have a site just for precision mfg/cad.

now the older version of Blender 3D 2.49 etc can be found here;

http://download.blender.org/release/

look for the release numbers etc.

Really, if you can figure out how to use SketchUp you can easily use Blender. and it is already in a metric unit mode grid is automatically divided by 10.
