So I'm using Autodesk Inventor 2013, I've just been making a few test designs and when I try to convert to STL it changes the measurements for some reason, for example, something that started as 3 inches tall became 1 inch tall.

Inventor offers "unit" as STL export setting.

There should be an "Options" button next to the "Save" button...
