| How would I soften this mesh edge [message #49174] Wed, 30 May 2012 01:50 UTC |

Hi all,
I am trying to figure out how to soften this edge. I have used a mesh offset command in Rhino 3D to create this solid, and would like to round it smooth. Looks like Rhino 3D has no commands for this. Can any body enlighten me as to how to get this done.
Thanks Flubber.

Theres a way to do it in zbrush. post the model as a .obj and Ill do it for you. Polygons will be altered but visually it will remain the same.

I could be wrong, Sal, but I think that only works on polygon solids and not on meshes... And please feel free to correct me if I am wrong since this is something I have tried to do in the past.

No prob and thanks for that link. Useful for other things it showed me, as well. I've subscribed so I can check out other vid's later.
I'm going to PM you with a question...
