I think there needs to be a better way to credit account for shop owners rather than coupon codes....I understand that the reason shapeways may want to use coupon codes is because to get the customers to reorder, but as for the shop owner (me) when I do a batch order (testing to see if models are printable) some models may get rejected..and depending on materials different models are rejected at different times..and your stuck with multiple coupons...and when reordering there is no way to input all your credits because you cannot enter more than one coupon code. Right now I placed an order and i'm stuck with 2 coupon codes each with different amounts. It should be one coupon code with amounts added and subtracted from one coupon. I don't use the refund method because I don't charge back my credit card for amount less than $100 when I would have to be ordering again when the model is updated..

Anyone else agree with me or am I the only one that has an issue with this?

I agree, coupons are a half-assed way of managing account credits.

Shapeways, please look into other ways of achieving this.

Shapeways Customer Services (service@shapeways.com) are quite accomodating and will happily combine coupons, just send them an email with the coupon codes you like combined and a new code will be issued for the total amount.

That's good to know, but it's not a very easy, elegant, or scalable solution.

I would suggest that this option be combined with this enhancement suggestion:

http://feedback.shapeways.com/forums/111989-shapeways-feedba ck/suggestions/2568815-take-my-unpaid-earnings-as-shapeways- credit-please

You might want to add some comments and votes to it.

I understand that shapeways combines coupons, and I have used this method.. but this requires you sending them an email..they have to read it verify it..(takes time) and you have to make sure everything is correct..I just think it'd be a better and time saving solution. During this time you may want to print your new modified model..which you can't because your waiting for the credits to be combined...and again there is no guarantee the new model won't be rejected..then you have to start the whole process over..

Right now i'm waiting and can't ask for the coupons to be combined because I don't know if the other models pass the printing process....If I combine the coupons now and the models pass then everything is ok..but on the chance it fails..if I combine the coupons now and tomorrow it says the printing failed..then I'd have to email them again and say combine this too..and if i were to place an order now..everything gets confusing..better to have all the credits and deductions from one place than multiple places..just my thought.
