Helloes. I made this using the JPEG uploader since I don't have Maya on this laptop:
http://www.shapeways.com/model/472427/tilde___translation.ht ml?gid=ug
It's the Translation symbol. Also this:
http://www.shapeways.com/model/472429/backslash___rotation.h tml?gid=ug
Rotation. So, I really like how these look, but I want to add a ring to them to hang them by a chain. The problem is, I want the ring to be on the back, perpendicular to the design rather than parallel, which requires more than one plane. It seems like a really easy thing to just tack on, but without any modeling software, I'm SOL. So can I just describe this to the Shapeways guys when I order it and trust they'll know what I'm talking about, or should I ask someone to kindly tweak it and send me an .mdl or something?
I also want to do the symbol for Scale, but that requires actual depth.

I'm unfamiliar with Blender. I'm giving it a shot, but I don't know this interface at all.
