I followed the instructions, and i exported several models to different extensions, all in which are in the list of the uploadable extensions.
for some reason I get an answer that my model does not upload.
Any Helpers?
Attached an example of a file

Yeah, something seems to be wrong with uploading. I've had the problem since December 31,2011. I though it was due to overload from people trying to beat the deadline for the discount. However, I still haven't been able to upload anything. I even try several different file formats than STL.
Hope it get's fixed after all the Shapeways team recover from their New Year's eve hang overs.

It still doesn't work for me. I have an .obj file inside a Zip and it can't process.

Nope, still getting the following error:
This web page is not available
The connection to www.shapeways.com was interrupted.
My file is 5mb, but a smaller <1mb file uploaded fine.
I think your php timeout got reset or is being calculated incorrectly.

Yes, definitely related to file size and timeouts.
I just zipped my 5mb stl file to 600K, and it uploaded fine.

Hi guys, if you can give me details on which browsers and operating systems you're using, I'll be sure to get our dev team on the case!

I'm using Chrome, version 16.0.912.63 m on Windows XP.
Ok, I just tried the large file using IE 8, and it uploaded fine. Looks like the problem is only with the Chrome. But, it has been working fine before December 31st, 2011.

Ah I'm with chrome on XP too (17.0.963.12 dev-m) so this is Chrome problem ? To the best of my knowledge it's not updated itself recently.
