From Ireland, two CIE buses dating from 1954, underfloor engined Leyland Royal Tigers with Dublin-built 45 seat bodywork. One bus as originally built with rear entrance door, and one as rebuilt in 1964 with front entrance.

These models are a special order in 1:50 scale, delivered in WSF, unpolished as they are slightly too large for polishing. They measure roughly seven inches in length.

Excellent service from Shapeways, as usual!

Excellent.... I want to know where all you damn miniature modellers get all your spec's for the models I see on this site - surely you don't eyeball them?

The only miniature I made was of a TARDIS and I had to trawl the 'net to find good measurments I could use.

Nice,

If you update your product pages to use these images as the default image we can promote these a little.

Two versions of the U bus are available now in 1:50 scale, in unpolished WSF, with more versions to follow, and more scales to follow too. Some of the above images can now be seen on the U51-70 model.
