Here's some features from the catch all topic, that I wanted to re-iterate so they wouldn't get lost, or repeated:
-banner longer across the top, or larger with more impact
-showcase pages like Etsy
-windowshopping categories
-price shown under thumbnail listing of item.
-Whystler

When first calling the shop the default view should be by rating or number of views, buyable items first.
Currently my shop starts with my newest items (which are under review, since I don't set them buyable without having them ordered myself)

I have a question, hope its in the right place,
When I upload a picture of my model, is there a way to make that picture the default picture? For example, when I browse the gallery, there are a few models where you see the image that the designer uploaded, Not the rendered image that shapeways makes of the model.
Hope that makes sense...

If you have a Shapeways Shop, you can change the default pictures.
You go to a model's detail page, upload a picture using the browse button to the right of the main image.
Then in the column to the right of that select the picture from: "Main thumbnail image:"
You can open the Shop using the "open a Shop" button on your profile.
