It looks nothing less than fantastic! Just out of the box:

It'll take a while before it's painted, have to try some tests first Razz

:edit: 3/1/2009 Painting done! (My wife painted her)

A sense of scale, on my 17" laptop keyboard:

Nevermind the rotating bow in the animation; apparently I moved the arm when I knocked it over between shots, eventually I'll glue it in. The arm post I sanded down after it was all painted, fine grain did nothing to it, medium grain took it down most of the way. I ended up needing to shave the base of the post with an x-acto blade to finish fitting. I will test after getting my next pieces, but the material seemed to cut like it is a "gooey solid" - this may be from paint saturation.

I cut a stencil out of card stock for the cape phoenix, we used metallic acrylic paints for that, some of the black clothing, the lettering, and parts of the arrow and bow. Otherwise it's plain acrylic paint.

The camera picks up the grain much more than it's visible in person. The glowing paint is still being applied, it's hard to get enough on it to show up, the material is very absorbent. I haven't glued it all together or varnished, but this is how she looks Smile

Definitely will do. I'm waiting on some 'test pieces' to see the properties of my paint on SWF first, but as soon as I'm sure of methods/results it'll proceed past white Very Happy
