]First shapeways project... Very excited!
We have some buckles that have already been carved in wax / cast in brass and thinking creating them via shapeways would be amazing.
Looking to begin an ongoing work relationship with a modeler for this and future projects.
Attached is a photo of a wax, hand made! ... I will provide a detailed schematic w/ measurements etc.
Thanks in advance to anyone who gets back to me!
Enthusiastically,
evan

I'm not so sure what I'm looking at... it looks like just two rectangles side by side?

Hello Evan,
I think I can help you out
I can model anything from simple shapes, like your buckle, to more complex stuff like planes or that bunny you see below the p of the Shapeways-logo you see on top.
More work can be seen at my shop or at my site : www.baroba.be
Let me know if you are interested.
Cheers,
Rob

Hey rob thanks for writing, your work looks great!
I did a paper/pencil schematic that is pretty complete only waiting to make a decision about the 'bridge' and the 'nipple', both labeled on the drawing. The body itself is pretty much dialed.
Here are a couple more screenshots:

Wax (hand made): http://cl.ly/0h042Q1P322T3d0Z3y1l
+ Could you get me a quote on this?
+ How does it work re payment?
+ What if small tweaks need to be made (e.g. 3mm really should be 4mm etc)? Is that easy?
Thanks in advance,
Evan
