My Dreidel (or teetotum) in WSF arrived earlier this morning.

It came out better than I expected and works a treat - youtube video
I'll be painting it with Gold Pebeo Vitrail paint later

Thanks and yes it is hebrew, not sure what style though, I just looked in google for some font images that would suit the piece.

Thanks, yes I did read about the variations, and decided to go with the traditional Jewish meaning & symbols.

I made a Simple Dreidel a while ago too, mostly to practice a little more 3D design. Not so nice or clever as yours, but it was a start. I'm trying to think of particularly neat variations for it. In particular, I wonder if I can find/make a font of the Hebrew letters as they looked in the time of the Hasmoneans. At that time they were already using letters that looked more or less like the modern Hebrew letters (but stylistically different), but the Hasmoneans, in their coinage and other engravings, also brought back the use of the older Paleo-Hebrew (Ktav Ivri) script, as a sort of nationalistic statement, so maybe I should use those.
(My daughter suggested I make one with Samaritan-style letters, since I have done a lot of work with Samaritan Hebrew and have a font for that. I'd thought of that possibility, but doing it would either be irrelevant or actively backwards and possibly offensive, since the Samaritan community was not involved in the incident, and certainly would have wanted no part of a war dedicated to cleansing the Temple in Jerusalem)
Also pondering other ritual Judaica; my parents have a big Judaica collection... Wonder if I can make a really nice mezuza, or a yad...

This would make a good yad...
Now what a raised Lutheran boy is doing knowing what a yad is I don't have a good answer for you.

Indeed it would; that's what I thought of when I first saw it also.

Update.
I've now painted the Dreidel with Gold Pebeo Vitrail paint and here's the result.
