This material is wonderful !
Usually I'm not that fond of gold colored, but this is amazing, it really lights up the design, showing the internal structures.

I hope gold is here to stay !
It's still is at the moment, get yours quick !

Beautiful !

Can't wait for my first gold order to arrive.

I wonder why some parts are so smooth and some are not.

BTW what is the thickness of the rods? 2mm?

Thanks ! The finishing was as I would have expected.

The Shiral in plain steel was quite similar in polishing. And whatever the polishing process, the inside will probably always be under-treated.

(Unless the dremel guy who worked on Joris' cuff-links has some time to spare Razz what was it; 8 hours ?)

But with the plating the color is way more even, so only the slight bumps remain. In reality it looks quite smooth, but the macro lens is quite unforgiving Wink

I do hope to see silver plating added and bronzing and red copper color, perhaps platinum..Very Happy
I forgot enough about chemistry to remember which are feasible on steel.
