Since I discovered Uni Posca markers while custom finishing a Kidrobot DIY Munny, I use them whenever I can. They give vibrant colors to almost any object. So when the next Alumide jacuzzi model arrived, I gave it a Uni Posca finishing. I've also used it on WSF, which works great as well.
Here's a link to the original model: http://bit.ly/swjacuzzi2
By the way, I order the markers straight from Japan via eBay. Here's a reliable and fast supplier: http://bit.ly/uniposca

Real neat!
Could you post a close up / macro of the painted material (wsf)?
Are there metalic colors available, too?

So, I was too impatient to order those paint markers...
So I used a highlighter.

it actually worked pretty good. I just "painted" my other iPhone stand with a blue highlighter and that worked pretty well. To get the black, I used a fountain pen. If you use an ink that is super thin like fountain ink, go really really easy on it. It really wanted to bleed everywhere.

Wow great tip. I'll need to get my hands on some to try.

If you live in the USA, I found a source where you can buy individual markers. Maybe not cheaper, but good if you just want to try out a few colors. I ordered some this week and they came in only 2 days with $2.50 shipping!

Officeworks in Australia sells them individually too. 8mm for $5.99 AUD, going to get one first.
