Arrived today, really fast turnaround. My first print ever, I'm very impressed. No exclamation marks will do justice so I'm not using any.
I'm pleased that the parts, where their dimensions are imperfect, are imperfect to the fat side. Shaving a bit off here and there is not a problem, that's nice. Worth noting that the inner holes (6mm dia) are not even round at all. Fixed that with a drill bit.
Pics.
The whole batch:

Bearings inserted:

Assembled hinge:

Unfortunately for me I'm an idiot and I ordered only one half of all the joints that I needed. Fortunately for Shapeways, I'm ordering again soon

A delta robot. Without any particular function in mind yet, but maybe it will play checkers ;)

Awesome! Please update us (or at least me) on the progress you make with this. It sounds cool. What kind of motors are you going to use? Are those tiny bearings of some sort that I see in the second picture? Where did you get them?

2 mm ID, 5mm OD, 2.5mm thick, two in each piece. They can be found on ebay, in a specialized store or in an RC shop. Needless to say, avoid RC shops by all means.
