I've asked Natalia to check this topic and asked her if she can already give some information about this :)

Did you finally get a wig, Michael? :D

Or is Ana coming back to do Shapeways Live each month?

    Hey guys!

I hear you and I'm happy to hear you're so passionate about it! ;)

We took a hiatus from it because we've been talking about a better format for Shapeways Live. It will still be interactive, but with a bit of structure and topics.

I haven't set a date yet, but expect a Shapeways Live in the next month.

Feel free to hold me to my deadline - there will be a Shapeways Live before August 1st!

Is there anything you'd like to talk about specifically? Post your topics here so we can cover them!

    Best,
    Natalia

    Looking forward to it!

Ana is a tough act to follow, but I've hung out with Natalia a couple of times, she's totally fun. I'll certainly tune in.

We could speak about what are the future plans of Shapeways as describe here, or the new material rules (for instance can we still enclose wax in FUD or FD models?).
I am sure we can find lots of topics... :)

    EDIT: in UTC! Thanks Paul.

    Hey guys,

    Quick poll:

What time should Shapeways Live be? (in UTC)

    1. Lunchtime
    2. 6pm
    3. 8pm

Let me know what you prefer!

...and I'll work out what time im broadcasting from New York! ;)

Early evening (BST = GMT+1) haven't a clue what that is in EST - come on, in this day and age of global meetings, and with Shapeways running on UTC, lets have some consistency in times please.

    Hi Natalia;

6PM UTC (2PM NYC time?) still works for me.

Any chance we could get a larger build volume for FUD or XHD print mode (16u layers) on the Projet HD 3000Plus machine?

6 or 8pm UTC is good. 8pm preferred.

  17. One more vote for 6 or 8 pm with preference for 8pm :)

6 or 8pm EST for me. All the prior ones were around 1pm EST, I believe, which was totally useless for me. Alternatively, can you make them available for download? Not quite the same, I know, but that might help somewhat.

iirc 6-8pm est is somewhere in the region of 11pm-1am give or take an hour this side of the pond, a time when most ppl are asleep in europe and a time outside of Shapeways staff normal working day even if the broadcast is from the US - all Shapeway Live brodcasts are available via Ustream.

Sleep? Who has time to sleep with all this making to do?
Thanks, I wasn't aware of Ustream.
