Pricing question; less volume is more expensive..?

Discussion in 'Customer Service' started by 168133_deleted, Apr 25, 2012.

  1. I had uploaded a model with the volume of 175.45 cm³, the price at the edit page was 131.47 euro.

I updated the model and slimmed it donw to reduce price. Volume is now 151.44cm³. But the price went up 70 euros to 202.99.

    How did that happen?

    Thank you!

Its possible for the price to go up with a lower volume if the first model was over 10% density and the second was not ... you can calculate the density to check by dividing the volume of the model by the volume of the bounding box.

Read the fine print on this "10% density discount" for WSF here.

  5. Density of expensive model - ~9.8%
    Density of cheaper model - ~ 11.3%

So that seems to be the case!
    Thanks for the tip!
