Key factors influencing price?

Hi. Recently I uploaded a model, after processing the lowest price quote was ~$800. A few relevant factors:

The model is 14 inches high.
The average wall thickness is 4 mm.
The model is high poly - 34240 verts.

So my question is this: given all the different variables how do I reduce the printing cost without losing the high fidelity? I'm not even sure what is causing the price to be so high.

Is it the high poly count? Is it the relatively thick parts of the wall? Is it the fairly big size?

Which variable is the best one to focus on to dramatically lower the price without sacrificing fidelity? My budget is ~$100.

    Model is here:

    Thanks.

The things to look at are; first the material you want to use and second the volume of that material. I would also suggest you look at you design, since it looks to me that the thinnest parts of the stem is not wide enough to be hollow, so that the support material cannot clear from the middle section.
