Silver Watch Case

    That wouldn't be from an old comic book crime fighting detective would it? I'm guessing the grill is post process?

    The mesh grill is post process, the watch band bars are post process and the crystal face was custom milled elsewhere. It looks great!

    Now to figure out how to install this movement...

    I figured it would be hard to cast a clear silver face, that's why I didn't ask about that part :laughing: . Who cares about the watch part, make it a sticker, as long as the other half works lol.

    both the watch, and the bluetooth headset that fits in the space under the grill will eventually work =)

    after a break, i'm starting up on this guy again.

    after taking measurements, the silver has shrunk 1.6% in the x direction, 1.3% in the y direction, and in the vertical i'm having too hard of a time taking an accurate dimension because of the shape.

    This part was polished, but even checking the inside dimensions i'm getting close to the same percentage of error in those two directions.

    These are the sort of shrinkage rates I would expect from castings.
