POINT WILL BREAK OFF IN DEPOWDERING.

    What does this mean? Can not be printed : POINT WILL BREAK OFF IN DEPOWDERING.

    not sure what powdering is. Was trying to print in gold plated steel

    I have to say, I've never seen that one before... Is the model public so you can show us which point they may be talking about? Maybe it's the green phase when removing excess powder?

    Depowdering is likely to refer to removing of the support powder during the green stage.
    This is where the model is only composed of the steel powder and an organic binder.

    The message means what it says. This model has some very sharp pointed projections and during handling to remove the green print from the build box it is more than likely it will be damged before it gets to the furnace. The technicians here are very talented and careful but they know the odds of success/ failure better than anyone.

    I did not know what depowdering was. I have rounded off the corners and resubmitted hopefully it will go through this time
