    Hi everybody,

we had a small update today:

    - Model owner can set a default material on the product details page for which the model price is shown in the galleries.

    - Redirect back to forum instead of homepage, when logged in on the forum.

    Virtox:

That doesn't look good! But I can't reproduce it (I'm not on the most recent Chrome yet, though). Maybe some CSS got cached for you?

Anyone else seen this problem with the buttons?

I'm using Chrome, XP-32. Everything looks OK.

Very strange, it used to look ok in my Chrome.

Flushing caches and related didn't fix it.

But a de- and re-install of Chrome made the problem disappear

    Silly softwares..

Reinstalling the browser seems like a big step! I hope that's not necessary for anyone else who may encounter this issue. :(

I just uploaded a new model - when i update the categories it wont let me save the page - i get :
    {/literal}{atktext module="udesign" id="save_changes_error"}{literal}

but if i refresh the page and change other stuff and hit the save button then its ok and i get "The changes have been successfully saved."

tried it few times - same error - cant change the categories , it wont save

    WINNNER!!!!

It's also used as default material for ordering, which allows us designers to preselect the favorite material. Great!

I can confirm that one. Seems saving to the Jewelry-ring category fails at the moment, probably due to the size of that category now. We'll look into it.

    Correction.

It seems to work from the item page but not from the gallery. When I order from the gallery the material is WSF and not the default material.
I think that should aklso be changed.

    Woody64:
I agree, ordering from the gallery should use the default material just like ordering from the product page itself. I'll make sure we update that behavior.

I am now getting blank model pages in chrome on two different systems.

    Source says <body> </body>

Edit: 17:55 (site time) working again, that was weird..

I just emptied the cache, that seems to help for the few that had the same issues.

    @barries: works now, thanks

@virtox: nice tip. Is that a show case in this example or did you add functionality by this mean? It seems a lot of work doing that for all models.

I have started to fill in the defaults and oncemore I wish that these two suggestions from the forum would be available.
    1. very simple: place additional back and next buttons beyond the save button
    2. download and upload the properties of an item via excel/csv

Woody: it's functionality that existed prior to the default material.
And yes it's a bit of work, but once you have the code/layout it is easy to adapt them for others.
I edit them in a text editor using search and replace and then copy paste.
The basic code was copy pasted from a shop section widget set up for that purpose.

Virtox--what you did here looks really nice, but Shapeways actually should not support HTML except for very basic styling in this area, because there's risk of accidental (or deliberate) breakage. At some point, we're going to have to cut it back for our own sanity and safety...

The real serious security risk is at the shop editing page where a shop owner can insert HTML tags to describe his shop -
No adequate measures were taken by the development team to filter out the <script> </script> tags against cookie hijacking, traffic redirecting etc...
