Is it just me, but when i search for model trains section,,, i get to see people's models wich don't have anything to do with the section of the gallery. Isn't there anything to do about it? Here are some examples of things that are in my eyes abuses of the tag system. Modeltrains: https://www.shapeways.com/model/128337/stelle01.html and https://www.shapeways.com/model/77900/ksitigarbha.html Puzzle: https://www.shapeways.com/model/52936/one_ring_to_rule_the_ba ll.html how do you people think of this? that when you go to a theme page,, and see stuff that doesn't belong there?
The puzzle one I could see as an unsolvable puzzle of sorts. The two model train links looks like the designers made a mistake as those tags are the only ones that seems out of place.
I think the designers made a mistake. I removed the two models from the model trains gallery. Regarding your question what to do about it: just mention it in the forum and we will take action. Thanks! Robert
In the latest update Fixed a bug in the removal of products from categories. Sometimes the product stayed visible in a category, even when the category was removed from the product (caching issue)
Clear. And mo, these products were put into custom galleries (in this case the model trains gallery). The update was about removing your product from a category. Cheers! Robert
an observation from a noob... the gallery default is 'model trains' on the upload a model page... easily missed... perhaps make the default '-------' with the compulsory *
I believe the default is "no gallery", you have to press the Add button for the selector value to be applied.
click 'upload'... default for Category is 'Default', default for Gallery is 'Model Trains'... like i said, it is easily missed
Those may be the default items in the drop down boxes, but it is still only added after you click add (it will then appear below the selection box) Cheers!
lol... my bad... i did mention i'm a noob here Thanks for putting me straight (& for your inspirational designs)
No problem, I understand the confusion. Welcome to Shapeways btw. And thank you kindly for your appreciation. Cheers, Stijn
