Hey shapers,
Correct me if i'm wrong.. when you order a model from
shapeways your self you get an instant receipt email plus
another one from PayPal.
Yet as a shop owner i get the "Yippee! You've sold a model"
email only 4-5 business days AFTER order was made by
customer...
If an order was a Co-creator you then get an instant email
letting you know of that new sale + the need for you to re-model
your model according to customer request ..
What I'd like to ask is why the delay notifying emails with regular sales?
Every e-biz novice knows you have to correlate sales with your
recent promotion attempts - be it a review made to your model,
a post you made on a certain forum or if you shared your model
on stumbleupon , digg, services etc...
This way you know where the sales might have come from to
calculate your sales ratio from that source of traffic and perhaps
make changes to your promotional efforts.
I was lucky to get few "Yippee!"s this month for my stand for
iPad:

But i cant tell where the sales came from...
Its important for me to know for ex if traffic from this review on
unplggd.com made me some sales ...
