How does a design end up in the headline when shopping? Sponsored?

Hi Shapies,

I was just browsing the jewelry rings products and discovered that a specific product was continuously featured in the headline of the shopping area (see attached screen dump). Does anyone know how that product got up there? Is it featured by Shapeways or is it a sponsored link like someone paying an add?

Great question. That featured image is chosen by me Feel free to send your products my way and I will queue them up to be featured. The jewelry section has a new layout we are trying, featuring rings, bracelets and pendants (to start) in specific materials. Those are hand curated sections also, and I'd be happy to fill them with lots more content! The more the merrier!
