Does anyone know if you can electroplate plastic prints from Shapeways at all? If so, which plastic materials can you electroplate? Thanks so much! Oscar
See this and this thread - the material as such does not appear to be the problem, but achieving a sufficiently smooth surface might be, as the plating tends to make small pits more visible. Depending on your goals, metal effect paints could be an alternative.
