Hello Everyone, I'm looking for a good adhesive to attach metal magnets to SWF. Some of the options being considered are 2 part epoxy, epoxy putty, and Gorilla Glue. Any suggestions would be appreciated -8th

Hi Paul, The application is attaching limbs for a toy figure. Magnets are NdFeB. The main body magnet does have an exact recess which will hold steady even without glue. The limb part of the toy conforms to the spherical shape of its magnet, but is not encapsulated like that of the body. Approximate glue surface area is 30% of the magnet and it's glued normal to the separation line. Thus, the bond must be strong enough to withstand repeated separation.
Just thought I'd update on my progress with gluing both steel ball bearings and magnets to SWF. 2 hour Epoxy was used after roughening both the bearing/magnets and the SWF and it was allowed to set overnight. Thus far, the parts have been moved/replaced extensively by me and several friends without the parts ever separating
