Mathematical sculptures installed at the University of Melbourne

    These 5 large 3D printed sculptures are now installed in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne in Australia!

    The first 3 are unusual versions of surfaces: a Möbius strip, a Klein bottle and a Torus. The other two are based on two 4-dimensional polytopes, analogous to the 3-dimensional dodecahedron and icosahedron.

    They were printed by Shapeways, and spray dyed by me!
