Need Help Converting .vtf file to .stl

Hi all,

I need a bit of instruction to convert my files to .stl. I use the design version of vision numerics cad program called 3Design. With the design version you can model but can't export to .stl unless you purchase the pro version which is a hefty bill.

I was wondering if anyone new the work around on how to export the file to .stl? Currently I can save it as .vtf which stands for vision numeric/ three design/ file. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Let me see if I can open a .vtf file but you might want to check out this shapeways link, they might also be able to help. Should be the first thread up top.

I can't open this file but I see this program also allows you to export as a Rhino file. What other file types can you export as?

I have the same problem with the 3 Designprogram than you.I can't export the model to a stl file.

I found someone that holds the full license for 3Design and he converts my files but at a cost.

no one had me told that there are two versions on the market.
These are for me mafia methods.
I bought me now a 3Dprinter and I cant use it ,that is not nice
