Trying to locate material data sheet for PA2200. I see eos lists 5 different types of PA2200 as follows: Balance 1.0 Performance 1.0 Speed 1.0 Top Quality 1.0 Top Speed 1.0 Which type of PA2200 is being used as White, Strong & Flexible?
You mean this one? https://www.shapeways.com/topics/udesign/materials/white_stro ng_flexible/pa2200_material_data_sheet_12_08_en__.pdf
I noticed that eos no longer lists just the PA2200 on thier material data centre, but rather have split it into the above mentioned types. Just wondering which one is now being used.
The various grades refer to the machine's settings. It's all the same material, polyamide 12 "nylon." Shapeways uses 0.15 mm layers (ie: 150 µm) which corresponds to EOS's PA 2200 Speed 1.0 grade.
So the PDF is outdated? Anyway, the old values seem to be around (new) Balance and Performance (layers 120-100). It could explain why old products had less layering issues.
What "old values" do you mean? Shapeways used the 0.15mm at least back to 2010, and probably longer than that.
