An espresso cup specially designed with fins, to ensure the successful deployment of your rocket fuel. All systems are go! Paraboloid bowl holds approximately 1.5 fl oz. or 45 mL. (Note that I previously claimed the cup held 60 mL. While my 3D modelling software still reports that as the internal volume, some combination of the printing process and glazing is robbing me of internal volume. Contact me if you'd be interested in a larger, more expensive 60 mL cup.)

After receiving feedback from Shapeways, I've created a slightly revised model for the cup. I'm told that this model will be easier to print and glaze, leading to a more reliable product. The changes are minor -- it's a little wider, a little heavier, and has more rounding on edges that were previously sharp (a 3D rendering shows the differences above).

Update (April 13th, 2013): The cup has had a great run on Shapeways, and I deeply appreciate the attention and positive feedback it has received. The bad news is that I've got to stop offering it for sale here. The good news is that the cup is now available commercially! It's being manufactured by Fred and Friends, sold under the name "Blast Off! Espresso Cup Set". It's already available for purchase online (perpetualkid.com, thinkgeek.com), and I'm sure you'll be able to find it in your favourite housewares store soon.

The Wrap is an accessory that attaches to the USB end of your iPhone charger, transforming it into a handy little cable winder for the charging cord.

This version of The Wrap works with recent US iPhone chargers and USB cables as shown in the images, up to those of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S - please check before you purchase. There is currently no version of The Wrap available for iPhone 5 cables. It may work with other countries’ iPhone chargers too, but only if the geometry is exactly the same as the US version as shown here.

This product was originally developed for the European version of the iPhone charger - that version can be found here. The Wrap is manufactured in tough but lightweight, 3d printed polyamide with a fine surface texture. Colors may vary - please check in the 'select material' section above for the latest versions. Some powder residue from the printing process may be left on the product; if that's the case, it should be easy to clean off. Product is shipped in standard Shapeways packaging.

You can have a look at all the products in my shop here. Shipping rates are flat, so you could divide them over several products. If you have any feedback or questions on this product, please feel free to e-mail me directly at michiel(at)michielcornelissen(dot)com. If you like, follow me on twitter.

A wholesale offer of 8 units of The Wrap at reduced prices is now available here.

Solo e Sola is an espresso cup that holds a single cigarette.

The Solo e Sola cup was inspired out of need, and could be used to build an entire business model... imagine a food truck offering single espresso shots with single cigarettes. Currently illegal, probably unhealthy, yet understandably desirable, Solo e Sola is a serving piece for a food truck, a cafe or a restaurant, or individuals.

A product of Tomorrow Lab’s CoBuilt process [ http://tomorrow-lab.com/cobuilt ], this cup was developed for a low cost using rapid fabrication processes including an inhouse MakerBot and Shapeways.com.

After playing around with the (Cage Edit Tool in Rhino), I was able to morph the straignt lines to create some ripples. What started as a simple opening, resulted in the 3D optical illusion. This feature is the only modified aspect of this phone case, while the rest of the architecture remains the same as the one of my earlier cases. Such designs offers a perfect fit for your phone, which I have tested for several months, as you can see on the following demo af an earlier design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mrvn2xjp5k

iPhone case that makes your iPhone looks like a Mac Pro.
I made this model which mimics the front of a MacPro computer for a friend of mine who is a fan of Apple products, I thought it might interest other geeks around there.
This phone cover has been tested for everyday use, the phone is set up and removed quickly, it fits nicely and all buttons and ports are easily accessible, no need to remove the case to plug the connector.
The model on the pictures was printed with the WSF polished material, I advise to use this material.

I've made a few changes to make the cooker easier to use. I've updated the handle and made the bottom flat so anyone could eat from it. I've added an extrusion near on the handle to stabilize the cooker in the base. Version 1 was very nice looking, and version 2 will keep most of the original design while adding stability.

It will be fun to collect every color of ceramic shapeways makes. So far I have white ceramic, avocado green, and glossy black with the other colors on their way. If you are looking to get just the cooker, here's the link.

If you want to customize this in any way please email me on shapeways or contact me via my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ZeroDistanceDesigns

This little cooker is designed around the lowly tealight. First meals have been with a standard tealight (38mm x 38mm x 16mm) as the heat source and safflower oil inside the cooking vessel with minced green tomatoes, Portuguese sausage, and sliced garlic. After those tasty results, I progressed to make a variety of dishes.

Tiny Dishes + other savory treats:
- roasted garlic
- cheese frying: ale cheddar, mozzerella
- melted milk chocolate
- fried bread dough
- baked a small spice cake ball
- melted marshmellow + milk chocolate for different smores variations.

other neat applications:
- Heats soy wax to 200 (need to blow out the candle at 185F) and made soy candles.

temperatures:
- heats water: 200F
- heats safflower oil: 300F

limitations:
- uneven heating causes glaze cracks. The latest design with a flattened bottom seems to prevent cracks, but the base can still get glaze cracks.

other oil tests:
- coconut oil, grapeseed oil, butter were all tested and work well.
- walnut oil was tested and I don't recommend it as the oil spattered a few feet in the air as it heated up.

Protective and decorative case design inspired by indian patterns such as Mandalas. This thin case provides a nice grippy touch due to its 3D woven pattern and the printed layering.
The model has been succesfully 3D printed in Royal Blue WSF Polished. Of course an iPhone 4 version is coming soon.

Chain, clasp and steel soldered jump rings not included in this listing on shapeways.

This item requires additional finishing after print. Item shown in the pictures does have a bit of post production work on the surface. I sand and polish the ring after receipt from the printers which rectifies the pitting and any texture of the surface.

If you order this item it will come straight from the machines at shapeways and might come with a slightly jagged surface that may need to be sanded smooth. I do offer this item in its post production glorification at my etsy shop. Contact me if you have questions.

I am currently offering it at my etsy site at the following link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/112013677/branching-heart-necklace-stainless-steel

I used the 2D wave equation to generate the top surface of this tile. Random oscillators drive waves across the surface, reflecting from the edges and interfering as they cross each other. Like the ripples in a pond that it's designed to mimic I think it's beautiful, I hope you do too.
