The bony skeletal structure of an origami paper crane. Created following the traditional crane model, for any lovers or the art of paper folding out there.

The detail is incredible, you can see textures and complex shapes even inside of the rib cage. The poor contorted crane has legs and feet, they are folded into its torso in true origami fashion. And vertebrae on the tail you say? What else did you expect?

 The same fit and function as the iPad 2 Wrap: Grid, except the Grid was taken to a 3rd dimension. This is Cubed.

 A custom pattern to make the backside of your iPad 2 a bit more interesting. The iPad 2 Wrap literally wraps itself around each corner of your iPad, giving the corners & surfaces secure protection. The Apple Smart Cover protects the iPad front well, but leaves the back vulnerable to dirt and scratches. The wrap is the perfect compliment to the Smart Cover and the two work together flawlessly. I've made a few changes to make the cooker easier to use. I've updated the handle and made the bottom flat so anyone could eat from it. I've added an extrusion near on the handle to stabilize the cooker in the base. Version 1 was very nice looking, and version 2 will keep most of the original design while adding stability.

It will be fun to collect every color of ceramic shapeways makes. So far I have white ceramic, avocado green, and glossy black with the other colors on their way. If you are looking to get just the cooker, here's the link.

This little cooker is designed around the lowly tealight. First meals have been with a standard tealight (38mm x 38mm x 16mm) as the heat source and safflower oil inside the cooking vessel with minced green tomatoes, Portuguese sausage, and sliced garlic. After those tasty results, I progressed to make a variety of dishes.

Tiny Dishes + other savory treats:
- roasted garlic
- cheese frying: ale cheddar, mozzerella
- melted milk chocolate
- fried bread dough
- baked a small spice cake ball
- melted marshmellow + milk chocolate for different smores variations.

other neat applications:
- Heats soy wax to 200 (need to blow out the candle at 185F) and made soy candles.

temperatures:
- heats water: 200F
- heats safflower oil: 300F

limitations:
- uneven heating causes glaze cracks. The latest design with a flattened bottom seems to prevent cracks, but the base can still get glaze cracks.

other oil tests:
- coconut oil, grapeseed oil, butter were all tested and work well.
- walnut oil was tested and I don't recommend it as the oil spattered a few feet in the air as it heated up.

Several levels of water flowing

This dry flower vase was derived from the Julia Fractal Set.
Instead of high iteration full color imagery as is common, one can also trace a line over the lower iterations.
Then by slowly altering the input values, we are morphing the fractal while traveling the Z-axis.
And beautiful and elegant forms appear.

Circa 12.5 cm high with 1mm thick walls, this is suitable for all Strong & Flexible materials.
I recommend the polished.

Leonardo Di Ser Piero, born in Vinci, Italy, was perhaps the first European with a practical solution to flight in ca. 1485. One of his early designs was an ornithopter powered by human muscle by pulling strings, one for each wing. Leonardo did find out fast he needed something else than human power. I replaced it for a crankshaft mechanism in miniature. It comes fully assembled!


Keep in mind if you actually throw the plane, it will crash. Its fan can't be wind-operated.
