Dice Template
These are the 5 platonic solids to be used as dice template.

You can download them freely and modify them.
If you want to order this set of platonic solids as they are, there is no markup: you just pay for the material (as usual, shipping is free for any order of $25 or more).

In order to reduce the cost, they are hollow, with a tunnel joining the internal shell to the external shell. This tunnel is meant to prevent the automatic repair tool of Shapeways from removing the internal shell. But it is small enough to be invisible and to keep the support material inside.
The thickness of the models is 1.5 mm which is thick enough for Strong and Flexible materials, Details materials and Alumide.

A wormhole gate game token for board games.

Cufflinks inspired by Super Mario Bros. NOTE: the silver shown in the picture is NOT printed by Shapeways; a Frosted Ultra Detail print was used to create a mold, which was then used to cast in them in silver. I haven't printed them in silver, so I don't know how they'll turn out.

A fluid, flexible, fabric like sheet made of hinged tessellating triangles. This will fold, curve and crumple into random complex shapes, but it is based on a simple geometry, so it could be used as a guide for building larger objects. It blends technology and craftsmanship, enabling people to step back from the computer to play about with free form physical modeling and to happen upon surprising forms and structures which they can hold in their hands. I see it as a tool for designers, for creating anything from sculpture to furniture, architecture to jewelry. there are 4 sheets which can be clipped together in different configurations.

Ring created using Functy. Constructed from 8 parametric curve threads each with a formula similar to the following:

(x, y, z) = ((8.5+((1-cos(8*a*(2*pi)))/2))*cos(a*(2*pi)), (8.5+((1-cos(8*a*(2*pi)))/2))*sin(a*(2*pi)), 2.5*cos(4*a*(2*pi))),

radius = 0.5*(4-cos(8*a*(2*pi)))/5.

The diameter of the ring is 16mm on the inside (size 5½/K½). Send me a message if you'd like me to create a different sized version.
