Inspired by the well known mobius strip (discovered by August Ferdinand Möbius in 1858), an interest in the unusual, and 3D modelling, I created the Twin Rail mobius pendant.

A half shell and 3 rails form a bearing-like structure to encapsulate a train of 6mm balls in a mind-warping cage with a twisting, fascinating movement bringing to life the only pendent of its kind in the world.

Includes a 4mm loop for attaching to a necklace or leather cord.

Note: this item is the shell alone, you will need to aquire and fit the balls (31 x 6mm or 29 x 1/4 in) as well as a suitable necklace to hang it from, a 3mm leather cord works well.

This pendant features a mobius style spiral that can enclose a 6mm ball which jingles and jangles when worn.

A mobius strip pendant inscribed with End = Beginning

This model was designed by request to represent the cycle of relationships - the end of one relationship leads to the begining of another. The cycle, as with the mobius strip can be endless.

Successfully printed in Shapeways stainless steel many time over.

The little cousin to my Twin Rail Mobius pendant.

This pendant is designed to take a 4mm ball, or it can be left as it is.

The pendant features an eye to accomodate upto 4mm necklace.

European 4 in 1 micromaille sheet, 484 rings.

The rings are 0.7mm 'wire', AR4.5, ID = 3.15mm

Size (as printed) 54.43 (L) x 2.46 (W) x 59.06 (H) mm - depending upon the lay of the weave all the gaps allowed for printing will be taken up.

When laid flat, the printed sheet is 5.4 x 6.9cm

Dragonscale Chain Maille (mail) sampler.

Large rings are 18mm OD 2mm 'wire', the small rings are 12mm OD 1mm 'wire'. With the large aspect ratios of the rings, this is quite a loose weave with plenty of flexibility. This sample patch comprises of 86 rings in all with no joins!.

Chain Maille (mail) Dice Bag.

The mail is quite a loose weave of European 4 in 1, 'wire' is 1.5mm diameter and the inside diameter of the rings are 8.5mm giving an aspect ratio (AR) of 5 2/3.

There's twelve rings at the top to thread a draw string through.

Chained Die - D6 - chains and rings make up the construction of this D6 die

An original idea by my son and realised as a pendant in the form of a games console controller. Some people may recognise the layout of the XBOX 360 controller on which this pendant is based.

Horse Shoe and Ring puzzle.
My version of an impossible looking, yet simple puzzle.
The object of the puzzle is to remove the ring from the center.

Each face is 2 x 2mm, the spacing is 0.1mm giving an overall size of 6.2 x 6.2 x 6.2 mm...

And...

it is designed to be printed as one piece :)

I don't think I'll be able offer this item for sale, as the mechanism is the same as the original Rubik's Cube.

A unique pair of earrings in my FlatN style Squaremaille (chain maille). Each earring is the mirror of the other, so they hang as opposites.

Eyes Die D6 - a die designed for full colour sandstone.

Each face has spots with colouring on the face. The spots all have characteristics of eyes.

K6 'Jubilee' Telephone Box (kiosk) - OO (1:76) Scale - featuring 1930's period telephone and internals.

First unleased on British streets in 1936, the K6 was in use for many years. The K6's that survive now are classed as listed buldings.

My 3 strand mobius pendant has now become unprintable due to the nature of its construction conflicting with the methods employed (imo)... so now both pendant and ball are available as seperated models which can be fitted together (see video)

A model Kraken (squid)

A more robust version of the Extruded Pipe D6, piping is at 1.8mm diameter - suitable for the strong and flexible materials.

Update:
When printed this die is 'squashy' and not really suitable as a useable die.

A set of 6 mobius rings and stars for use as Christmas decorations.

The rings and stars have a 1mm hole for threading a wire or a string to allow for hanging.

The main photo shows the decoration made up using a head-pin and some white beads.

A pair of 1.5mm square cross sections makes a sweep around a three pointed 'circle' twisting and intertwining along their way to form this mobius style piece. Most suited as a pendant.
