365 Hearts Pendant

One heart created by 365 smaller hearts, symbolizing the love you feel for someone being built up of the many little things you like/ love the person for.

The 365 hearts also represent the 365 days in a year. Love and time merge in harmony in this meaningful design.

Imagine with this jewel you could for example:
• gift a year of love and kindness.
• wear eternal love, it has bonded mankind in beautiful ways.
• celebrate the many special moments together.
• give 365 valentine kisses.
a perfect present for an anniversary, birthday or wedding.

This video shows all hearts dance together to evolve into a large one. The unique 365 Hearts Design can only be realised in solid sterling silver by combining state of the art 3D printing technique with the classical ‘lost wax process’.

Please note that the pendant is sold without the chain. The pendant allows chains with a diameter up to 3 mm. (0,12 inch), to pass through the ring nicely. The weight of the shown sterling silver jewel is 20 grams (0,68 oz.).

If you have any questions or feedback on the jewel, please feel free to contact me.

‘365 Hearts’ is my way of creating a tender three dimensional poet, with a musical touch.

Hope you enjoy my creation,

Marc

Cryptex style puzzle box, inspired by the novel The Da Vinci Code. Textured to resemble marble, the lettering is also printed, rather then engraved. Comes fully assembled.

If you'd like to purchase your own, the password can be between 3 and 6 letters. Different length passwords will effect the pricing, as more or less material is used. Note the price shown is for a 6 letter cryptex.

Note: To facilitate assembled printing, the code cannot be changed after purchase.

To use this oil lamp, you'll need:
A wick - I used cotton string about 1/8" thick.
A wick holder - I used a 6-32 stainless T-nut that I got at an Ace Hardware for $.74. Anything will work that is clean metal, about 1/8" diameter inside and 3/16" diameter outside, with a flange.
Fuel - I used olive oil, any vegetable oil will do.
I made an Instructable with more details.

minimalist design, great functionality.
This shaker is conveniently filled from the top through it's big funnel-shaped opening. There is no plug, no lid - just this one hole does the trick.
The internal design of the shaker allows individual and precise dispensing from first to last serving.

iPad 3 - stick on - mount for iPro lenses

What do this odd thing do anyway..? its simple, mount the iPro lensystem from Century optics to a iPad. with double sided tape
*note this mount works with the fisheye and wideangle lens from iPro.

For my own use I used the 3M control strip because it is easy to pull on the tab to remove.

The iPro lens system can be found on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/iPro-Lens-System-Fisheye-Wide-Angle/dp/B00667SZTE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334889873&sr=8-1

Enjoy and please do let me know how you use these.

This listing includes the house only. Chain NOT included. This design is capable of fitting on any small chain of your choosing. You can string the chain or small leather or silk cord through the attic space in the house which is hollow from end to end. The house in the picture was sanded and polished a bit by me after it was printed to even out the surface. 3d printing does cause slight surface variations when printed in stainless steel and the house you receive may have a slightly more pitted surface. Other materials available for this house should print perfectly with a smooth surface. I also sell a house ring.

This design features a cute little house that I designed to look like the stereotypical pre colonial house often chosen as a model for doll house constructions. There are details on all four sides of the house. Center of the house is open and you can peer into the house through the windows and the door. One side features cloud-like little bushes while the other side displays a jagged shape to represent grass. The attic space is also empty (going all the way through) so that this ring can be strung on a chain and worn as a necklace if desired. I will be offering a necklace version of this house design soon as well as a modern house and a church. So check back for new designs soon.

Moby Maze is a mechanical maze based on a Mobius Strip. Half of the maze is at one side, the other half is, well, at the same side. The object is to remove the ring. It was originally prototyped by George Miller of PuzzlePalace.com.

This is a small two part AAA LED torch (flashlight) host.
The internals needed are from an MXDL 3W Luxeon LED light (shown in one of the pictures).

To build this torch the following is required:
1. AAA 1 Torch Head (included),
2. AAA 1 Torch Tail (included),
3. MXDL 3W Luxeon LED AAA light (not included, but available on ebay and should only cost a few dollars so i advise ordering more than one).
4. Metal strip, 0.1mm thick, 5mm wide and 120mm long to create an electrical path from the negative end of the battery to the LED unit. (not included, use copper or aluminium if available but steel will also work)

To fit the electrical path strip: find it's midpoint then bend the strip up at 90 degrees 5mm from either side of the midpoint using the edge of a ruler to form a U shape.
Using a large flat bladed screwdriver press the strip into the Tail Unit making sure it rests on the hole's bottom and is correctly orientated with the cut outs.
Then press fit the spring from the MXDL torch into the tail so that it is retained in the base.
Install the battery to hold the sides of the strip in place and bend the protruding strip ends outwards, pressing them flush with the Tail Units top.
Then trim the strip ends to finish within the inner perimeter of the Tail Units threads.

Despite the MXDL's low price it is a very durable and relatively bright little light with the components easily removed from the doner light.
However if damage or failure were to occur, due to the ease and cheapness of replacements, the host light can be brought back to life without great expense or drama.

There are some more photos of this object and other examples of my work, both 3D printed and otherwise, on my 'Tofty' facebook page.

Want a big one? Big ornament / desk toy version available here.

The skeletal essence of a dead leaf, with minute details of veins in different widths. I replicated the branching straight out of pictures from dead leaves, so the pattern is extremely realistic.

The stem on top of the skull is curved into a loop so that you can pass a string or gold chain through it and wear it around your neck (the hole in the loop is 2mm in diameter, make sure your chain can fit through). Chain/string not included, this is only the skull portion.

Our stylish Samsung Galaxy S3 case is designed to evoke the Art Deco style which revolutionized Paris in the 1920’s. During its heyday Art Deco represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and confidence in social and technological progress. Today Art Deco is a complete classic, but still an assertively modern style working with symmetry rather than asymmetry. It never lost its ability to respond to the demands of the machine and make the most of new material’s features. The case fits Samsung Galaxy S3 perfectly and is only 0.03 in (0.8 mm) thick. It is made from a smooth-on-touch material. You can individualize it by adding up to five characters in a special Art Deco font to the back of the case.

Nebula Lamps reflect a research about computational tools as essential elements for the form finding process and additive manufacturing as a meaning of production. The 3d printed object is no longer just a prototype, but is the final product; and the characteristic look of the 3D printing plastic is no longer synonymous with an uncompleted design process but is a symbol of new processes that override in meaning and functionality the old ones

Ever been fed up with the computer mouse cord getting snagged and tangled as it falls loose down the back of the desk?

If so this is my solution; a computer mouse cord holder/organiser that uses a standard M24 nut (not included) to add the weight needed to hold the cord in place
