This is a mobius strip of Level 1 or Super Mario Bros. The whole level is wrapped around itself in a single surface, and poor Mario begins and ends at the same spot every time :(

All the elements from the level are there: every mushroom, turtle, cloud and star. They are all carved out of the surface at different heights, which looks fantastic when you have a light coming from the side, and each block casts a shadow.

It's a great piece to have on your desk, or to hang from a string to let it spin around.

If M.C. Escher had owned fidget toys, he would have worn "One ring to rule the ball" as a pendant. A single, continuous line contains a small ball that makes orbit after mesmerizing orbit but cannot escape, always held down in four directions. A small necklace to carry plants with you throughout the day. Works well with a small succulent planted inside, or fresh picked flowers. This detailed model of the moon is hollow and therefore very price efficient. It will balance on a small gap on the bottom. You can also hang it on a wire using a bent paperclip. See video and images. Made for full color sandstone.

This 7" pendant lamp is covered by ridges and valleys that transmit different amounts of light when illuminated; they furnish a striking pattern whether the lamp is on or off.

We created the form by simulating a process where two chemicals diffuse across a surface and react with one another to form stable patterns. This process, reaction-diffusion, can be used to explain the intricate patterns found on the skin of many types of animals, from the spots of leopards to the radiating stripes of angelfish. Growing a pattern with different parameters can produce dramatically different results.

Here, we orchestrated a pattern that twists elegantly towards the base of the lamp where it terminates in a gentle spiral. Lines diverge and converge along the contours of the sphere, blanketing the surface in many deep grooves. We think the pattern recalls the forms of sand dunes and hard corals.

This is a large somewhat abstract version of a dandelion. It's very cool in person, and would probalby look very interesting with designer lighting placed on it. What you are looking at is a 17cm x 17cm x 17cm Voronoi net of something called the Clebsch diagonal cubic surface.
