http://www.shapeways.com/model/189295/tardis__simple_.html?gid=ug31952

Comes with earring hook! Remember, this is only ONE item. If you want two earrings (assuming you have two ears!) then you will obviously need to order another...

With all kinds of problems printing in silver and the fact that the lettering seems to have disappeared on upload I am taking this out of sale and will have to do a complete revision.

A pendant that is featured in the latest Harry Potter movie. Wear the Deathly Hallows symbol to represent the three highly powerful magical objects - the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Cloak of Invisibility. In the movie the circle revolves, but this one does not. I have also designed a much nicer bail for the chain to include the HP characters in the font used on the movie posters (see the close-up). The bail moves freely inside the circle on top of the pendant.

5th Aug 2011 - Even though I've already had this made in stainless steel (as you can see here!) I was told that I got lucky and that others in metal would break during production. (edit: In fact Shapeways now doesn't allow moveable parts in metal models). I am now going to make a new model of this so that the bail doesn't move, therefore it is not available in the metals but you can still order it in the acrylics (see additional photo's). Please check back later.

Long before we Shapies designed our own dice the Romans played with Long Dice. These were made out of ivory, typically, and had designs carved onto the faces to represent the numbers. This intrigued me and I looked around the Wicked Wide World and couldn't find any for sale. So I made one. It measures 3x1cm and I have attempted to make it fairly weight distributed by carving out six semi-spheres on each face - some on the outside and the remainder on the inside; yes, I know this isn't perfect but it's better than having one side with one hole and the other side with six.

The added bonus to this design is that the dice doesn't go bouncing all over the playing surface, making it much safer for children to play with.

Revised Dec 2012 -------

A pendant I designed around the opening credits for the current (2011 & 2012) Dr Who TV show, where the DW letters revolve to show the TARDIS on the reverse. Here I have created a stylized TARDIS.

Now at 8.5cm in height you can hang it around your neck or from your car rear-view mirror! Of course I recommend getting it printed in Royal Blue!

Sorry, but I have had to remove this from sale due to printing issues. If you're still interested I do have ONE of these for sale in a gorgeous transparent blue acrylic in my Etsy store for $15 - https://www.etsy.com/listing/80668829/serleenas-necklace-blue-acrylic-14cms

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A replica of the necklace worn by Serleena in the movie "Men in Black II". This was requested of me a short time ago but in silver, but I've just found out that it is too fragile to make in silver, sorry.

I can't vouch for its likeness since I was shown very indistinct photo's from the movie... but it's a nice necklace anyway, I think. At just over 14cm in width and with a subtle curve to its form it should sit comfortably a few inches below the neck. Your own chain would be required to fasten at each end.

I saw on a "One Direction" fan's Blog entry recently that she liked this pendant she'd seen but couldn't find anywhere to buy it. Neither could I. So as a challenge I decided to see if I could make one myself...

The main image here shows the White Detail pendant having been dyed with tea and then coated in acrylic gloss.

Om, Aum, Ohm is a holy meditation symbol of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism with many esoteric and exoteric meanings. In modern usage Om means the Word, the “parnava,” the eternal. Various accounts are given of its origin; one that it is the term of assent used by the gods, and probably an old contracted form of the Sanskrit word "evam" meaning "thus." "Om" is also the name given by the Hindus to the spiritual sun, as opposed to "Sooruj," the natural sun.

The Om is also often referred to as the sound of the Earth…creation...the heart of existence. To become one with the sound of the Om, through visual meditation and sounding of the vibration, allows one to become one with the source of all...to become "realized"... a "master." This last perspective of “Om” is how most westerners experience the “Om” and why it is used as an ending to many New Age ceremonies and gatherings.

45 RPM Record Insert Pendant for the TRUE music lover. Anyone who saw the image without reading this and didn't know what the heck it was just HAS to be under 30 years of age! If you STILL don't know what it is back in the days of REAL music, when a SINGLE song release was just that - ONE song on a piece of vinyl there was a large hole in the middle which allowed you to play it alone on your RECORD PLAYER, but if you wanted to stack a number of records to play following each other, then they needed to be placed on a thin spindle and thus this little piece of plastic had to be inserted to close the large hole to make the small hole available for the spindle.

This ends your history lesson for the day!

The polished stainless steel one you see here is available in my Etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/listing/72510224/45-rpm-record-spindle-pendant-stainless

SIMPLER VERSION AVAILABLE HERE: http://shpws.me/lmoU have only offered this in the new (and temporary?) FINE ULTRA DETAIL plastic since that would be the only material capable of picking up the fine details in the model.

A recreation of Dr Who's TARDIS. One of my favourite shows as a kid and still shown today, Doctor Who's TARDIS has undergone many incarnations. It seems that season 18's is perhaps the most popular and that is what I tried to remain close to when designing it. This one has no door handles on it, though, simply because I feel the printing process just wouldn't handle the thin material very well (the thickness of the handle was one tenth of a mm). But, in looking at the dozens of incarnations of the TARDIS there were some that did not have any handles, in fact.

The "Police Box" lettering is extruded on each side but I have not been able to put the sign on the phone cover door because of the size.

Tree of Life Pendant
Click on the video icon above to see a revolving video of this pendant (and do read the below).
Please note that even though I've had this successfully printed in Alumide, whose tolerances are not as good as the Detail materials, I got a message saying this couldn't be printed in Black Detail when someone else ordered it! Grrr!  I have therefore had to remove the Detail materials but do believe the FD and FUD will be okay.

When I created my original Harry Potter Deathly Hallows pendant (seen here: http://www.shapeways.com/model/181474/deathly_hallows_pendant.html?gid=ug) it had a two part bail that allowed the bail to move around. I had it printed but then Shapeways changed the rules for stainless steel printing and now don't allow moving parts in metal. So... I have had to create the pendant with an unmoveable bail as seen here. You now have a choice to buy this one in most materials or the other in the acrylics only. Please see the other model page for pictures of the printed pendant.

From Wikipedia: There are two main styles of a hamsa hand: the stylized hamsa hand with two symmetrical thumbs, and hamsa hands that are not symmetrical and shaped like actual hands.[10] Either hamsa hand can be worn with the fingers pointing up or down.

The hamsa is popular as a charm most often worn as a necklace, but can be found as a decorative element in houses, on key chains, on other jewellery items.[2] Many artists use the image of the hamsa hand in jewelry, paintings, sculptures, wall decorations, and amulets.

The renewed interest in Kabbalah and mystical Judaism is a factor in bringing the hamsa pendant back into vogue. In Jewish mysticism, fish are a symbol of good luck, so many hamsas are also decorated with fish images.

** My Entry into the Co-Creator Contest **
Breastplate armour changed over the centuries from practical life-saving neck and full-torso armour to its modern day incarnation as fashionable jewellery.
Designed to be worn at chest level (hence the name!) this piece could be strung with leather or chain. The official name for this piece of armour was a Gorget.

Note: I have deleted this as a co-creator item due to the large variance in material volume depending on what design the buyer created inside the perimeter. It can now be bought in the design shown and if you have a particular design in mind please contact me.

Green Lantern Ring 9.5

This is modelled with an inside diameter of 19.9mm which should shrink down to a US Size 9.5 during printing: Edit - a customer tells me this prints to 19mm dia.
Note that the photographed ring is my finished, post-processed ring. You will receive a stainless steel print with no crystal; they are easily obtained over the Internet should you wish.

After Shapeways deemed my first TARDIS miniature too detailed to print - http://shpws.me/lra4 I created this much simpler version. This was at the suggestion of someone who felt that gamers might like this to finish off with paint and/or stickers for the nameplate, etc.

The police box still conforms to the overall correct sizing dimensions as the TARDIS from the (18th?) Dr Who season.

If you want this in 'blue' colour (and why wouldn't you?) I'm afraid Shapeways removed the "Winter Blue" and replaced it with Indigo so you will either get this colour or get WSF and dye it with RIT fabric dyes.

Green Lantern Ring based very closely on the current movie version.

The centre has a recess in which I have added a green Swarovski crystal (obviously not included if you order the ring here) and is available on Etsy here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/80286595/green-lantern-ring-youth-or-small-size

The ring is small - 14.1mm inside diameter and would be suitable for a youth or someone with thin fingers.

Many other sizes in my shop.

Contact me if you'd like a larger size.

A custom designed soap stamp with a "drawn" Christmas tree image. This was originally designed for someone who hand makes soap, however, I believe if printed in WSF material it could be used as an ordinary printing stamp such as used in scrapbooking, etc. For soap-stamping the circular side can be glued onto a piece of wood to be used as a handle. The tree part can be pushed 5mm into the soap.

To buy this soap please see this Etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/listing/62432718/christmas-tree

Looking for that perfect gift for that computer nerd in your life? Now, to accompany my nerdy "They Walk Among Us" bracelet (http://www.shapeways.com/model/152181/they_walk_among_us_____bracelet.html?gid=ug31952) I have designed this pendant. The featured computer binary code spells out the word LOVE...
The inside diameter of the bail is almost 5mm crosswise, but due to the top of the pendant sticking into it the up/down measurement is almost 4mm... so a 3mm necklace will fit inside it.
How about having some printed in the coloured SF material and giving them away as nerdy wedding party favors?

A pendant inspired by the tri-spiral design on the entrance stone at the Megalithic Tomb in Newgrange, Ireland, which is probably the most famous Irish Megalithic symbol. It is often referred to as a Celtic design, but it was carved at least 2500 years before the Celts reached Ireland. The Megalithic Passage Tomb at Newgrange was built about 3200 BC. The kidney shaped mound covers an area of over one acre and is surrounded by 97 kerbstones, some of which are richly decorated with megalithic art. The 19 metre long inner passage leads to a cruciform chamber with a corbelled roof. It is estimated that the construction of the Passage Tomb at Newgrange would have taken a work force of 300 at least 20 years.

I also have a ring wih this design on it: http://www.shapeways.com/model/159188/newgrange_ring.html?gid=sg31952

For the truly geeky! A bracelet with the phrase "They Walk Among Us!!" in binary code... Do an Internet search of that phrase if you don't know what it means!

At the moment this bracelet has an inner diameter of 5cm (just under 2"), suitable for a youth or someone with thin wrists, but in SWF this does flex somewhat. It is 3mm thick. If you'd like a larger one let me know.

I can also make another using the phrase of your choice. The default material price shown is stainless steel. In SWF it is much cheaper.
