An assassin's ring with a gap in the bottom to activate a hidden blade. The ring itself is about 20.98mm wide, that should translate to 11 1/2 ring size in the US.

This Universal Equinoctial Ring Dial 2 is a portable and self-orientating sundial. You can see how a similar dial works: http://www.sunwatchmaker.com/instructions.php .

This is an improved version of a previous model:

You'll receive five parts unconnected and undyed. Follow these instructions:
1. Clean the parts with cold water and soft brushing to remove support material remaining from the 3d printing.
2. Dip the parts in cold tea for a couple of hours. Holes will get more dyed because of the support material trapped in them. The slider part doesn't have marks, but with the dying will get as yellowish as the other parts.
3. Paint with black ink the marks. Let dry the ink and then remove it with a wet sheet. This way, ink only remains in the marks. In the photo the slider and some zones of the rings weren't inked so they maintained the yellow tone because tea dyes all no flat surfaces. The hour ring has marks on both sides, but only one needs to be dyed.
4. Enter the slider with a little pressure through the slit of the central (month) bar. It's only possible over June and July marks. Then move the slider to the desired month and day mark. Each mark represents two days.
5. Deform lightly the meridian ring (the bigger one) in order to insert the hour ring. Be sure that both rings have their dyed faces on the same side when in folded position.
6. Deform again the latitude ring to put the central bar in position. Check the photo for the right orientation.
7. Finally, insert the eyelet through the "jasolo fecit" part of the meridian ring and displace it to the latitude value of your location. To improve the sliding of the eyelet, you can clean the path with a stick before the insertion (again the support material).

This case has been designed following Apple's strict guidelines for iPhone cases - this assures a precise and tight fit and unconstrained functionality.

Protection

The Strong & Flexible material from Shapeways is durable enough to keep your iPhone completely safe when dropped. It can be combined with commercially available screen protectors. I would recommend combining it with the InvisibleShield for a nice combo protection.
Also, it is dishwasher-safe. If your case gets dirty over time, put it in your dishwasher and it will look brand new!

If you find that you accidentally touch the part of the iPhone antenna that reduces reception, you won't have that problem with this case. If you usually talk with your iPhone in your left hand, and if you are often in areas with marginal signal coverage, this case will make it less likely for you to lose a signal and drop a call.

Playing games or using the GPS raises your iPhone's body heat much. That's because you use your CPU at max. According to Apple's knowledge-base, if the interior temperature of the device exceeds normal operating temperatures, you may experience the following as it attempts to regulate its temperature: Device stops charging, Display dims, Weak cellular signal, Camera flash is disabled, Temperature warning screen appears with the message "iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it". To help your iPhone keep normal operating temperatures, you should use a bumper or a case such as this one, since it does not cover the back of the iPhone and does not trap the heat inside.

Design

This case doesn't distract much from the feel of the iPhone. It has the advantage of being the "un-case" because it is so minimal and does not cover the front or the back of the iPhone. Neither the sides.

It doesn't distract from the design of the iPhone either. The problem with traditional cases is that they completely cover up the iPhone. Using a traditional case you end up feeling like you are holding rubber in your hand when you hold your iPhone. The iPhone's design is really amazing and it would be a pity to hide. The case allows both the design to show and a quite smooth feel instead.

This case allows to plug in the 30-pin dock connector without removing the case, while all controls and connections remain accessible.

To put the iPhone in the case, start at one of the top corners. To take it out, start from the bottom corners where there are no buttons.

Removed masking and painted the frame with a thin coat of Black Transparent Glass Paint for detail lines

Transparent Detail Process:
Dyed entire part with Purple RIT Fabric Dye (Dyeing Guide)
Painted the frame with Silver (Americana Gloss Enamels)
Painted entire part with 2 thin coats of Black Transparent Glass Paint for detail lines and to darken the purple (Americana Crystal Gloss Enamels)
Loyality Gold sections done with careful application of Rub 'N Buff
