the D-CUP is a double layered cup with a 'deconstructive design' outer shell. you can easily hold your cup with hot coffee or tea safely inside the inner cup. due to the high pricing of the ceramic material itself we at Novastar Designs also created the more affordable D-cup espresso! This initial version of the D-cup has been recently updated to the D-CUP: Revisited!, which is now available in our shop...

Concave Mug

The shape of this cup is a main sphere with 6 portions of spheres - of the same radius as the main one - removed to form concave faces. The top is open and a handle has been added.
The dimensions of this cup are approximativaly 6.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm and its capacity is 10 cl making it suitable for an Italian expresso.
