A low profile case for the Raspberry Pi with sloped edges. Large open logo so the pcb board is visible and an open bottom frame with LEGO feet. The pcb board is clicked in the bottom part. The USB connector will stick out the front.
Along the side of the GPIO connector there are some holes, so it is easy to cut out, in order to get a flatcable out.
Case consist of 1.4 mm walls which makes it more expensive but is far more solid
It fits my production RPi perfectly. There still can small variations depending on the placement of the components. If you would like to purchase this, please note that if it does not fit, understand that I cannot and won't give a refund. Clip-it is manufactured by innovative 3D-printing in tough but lightweight polyamide. The surface has a fine texture. The product will be shipped in basic Shapeways packaging. Some powder residue from the 3D-printing process may be found on the product itself; if this is the case, it should be easy to clean off with small tooth sticks & brushes. When you ordered Clip-it in colour it might be wise to clean it with water under the tap, so the dyeing pigments that might still be on the product don’t colour your white Apple gadgets. This incarnation is best suited to use as a decorative object, but we're open to suggestions for how you'd like to see it modified for your use!

The two most interesting uses we've found so far are using the WSF (polished) version as a surprisingly striking little glow bulb if you shine a light inside it, and possibly using the (pleasantly hefty) stainless steel version as an imposing game board piece.

Some tips from Vert Design...
We've found that the White Strong & Flexible material works well but gets dirty after a bit of use so printing in the Black or Red might be a better idea. Alternatively, why not paint in your own custom colour.

Be careful when screwing on the end caps. We've made a small cutout designed for the cable but if it falls out before you screw on the endcap, the cable can get pinched.

Check out the improved bass response in the standard earbuds. Interestingly, the earpiece acts as a speaker chamber and the lower frequencies are pretty impressive!

 Clothoid.B lamp is created by a mathematical curve formula and then that spline is lofted in 3d CAD software. Resulting form is parametric and adjustable in almost infinite number of combinations.

You can imagine this 3D form as afterimage of one single point in space as it moves, self-intersecting and rotating around, creating this 3D object. Whole shade form is actually one single line... wrapping around itself. Whole 3d printed light shade is created in one piece by Shapeways.

My second try on my yingyang soy-sauce bowl and I fell in love with it!!

While designing, it was important for me to focus on the meaning of asian numbers and modern design and to combine them with the Ying Yang.

I used 8 edges on the whole design. At the outside-top/bottem, inside, S-shape and at last on the two dots.

I hope you like it and enjoy your meal with it! :)

It's a small coffee cup whose handle is a moebius strip.
It is only attached on one side (where it is horizontal): I guess such a shape should be difficult to do without 3D-printing.
Oddly enough, it is quite ergonomic: put your thumb on the vertical part of the moebius strip, put the opposite horizontal part between your index and your medium, et voilà!

iPad 3 - stick on - mount for iPro lenses

What do this odd thing do anyway..? its simple, mount the iPro lensystem from Century optics to a iPad. with double sided tape
*note this mount works with the fisheye and wideangle lens from iPro.

For my own use I used the 3M control strip because it is easy to pull on the tab to remove.

The Flextest contest made me think of springs. And as I like recursive stuff, I decided to make a spring out of a spring that's made of a spring. Three levels of springy.

The purpose of this item is to answer these fundamental questions:
- How long will it be when stretched? (my calculations say you might need something like a volleyball court to test this)
- Will it return to its original shape afterwards? Or will it turn into the phone cord from hell?

The model was made with POV-Ray (as you can see in one of the close ups, it's made of about 77000 spheres strung together). The final model in MeshLab has 750000 faces.

For people who like a hard earned beer, a shot of tequila or a smooth glass of red wine, here's the chemical formula of alcohol (ethanol). Change the colour, change the flavour of the gift... with a strong hoop to make a keyring or a cool pendant. It's a nice way to buy someone a drink...

A set (one for each eye) of custom made lens shades for the Fuji W3 3-D digital camera. The camera shoots stereoscopic pictures, but in direct light really needed some lens shades. Since Fuji didn't make any, I decided to do it myself.

They stick onto the camera using poster putty / sticky tac, which can be found for $1-$3 in any office supply, craft, or art store. I recommend the Elmers orange colored one since it is the strongest. (This item is ONLY the 2 laser sintered nylon lens shades, NOT the camera.
