The filigree design over the skull symbolizes ever growing renewal over the ghost of the past. This is the original design as featured on Kickstarter. It became their #1 most funded sculpture project of all time. Small is pictured sitting in the hand. See pic of all 3 sizes together for comparison.

There are six regular convex polytopes in 4D, which are analogous to the five Platonic solids in 3D. This is the fifth, the hyperdodecahedron, a remarkably beautiful object brought to my attention by George Hart.

Here it's shown in a Schlegel diagram so you can see all 120 dodecahedral cells, though most are transformed by perspective: in this projection, the only regular dodecahedra are the biggest one on the outside and the tiniest one at the center.

A smaller model is here.

I created the skeleton of a skeletal Lepidoptera. The Death's Head Hawkmoth (Acherontia atropos), seen on The Silence of the Lambs , has a skull marking on its back. I made a full human-like bone structure for the moth, with the grinning skull protruding from its back.

The model is very thin, yet sturdy and flexible. Detail level is fantastic, and the natural texture of the 3d printing process gives it a bone-like appearance that works wonders.

Yes, moths don't have endoskeletons, that's the whole point...

UPDATE: Click this link to see the new version with loops for easy addition of a necklace chain! *Chain NOT included*

Makes a great Valentine's Day gift!!

They balance nicely on the top to fingers. With some dexterity they can also be fashioned into a necklace.

A hanging cup for your double espresso the morning after ;-)
It's in such a state that it cannot stand on it's own, so it really needs some support.
Luckily it has :-)
When you order, you will get the Hangover cup and the matching stand in glazed ceramics.

Printed Ceramics
With the current process, the round bottom on the cup will likely show some minor pits in the glazing from a small tripod it stands on during the baking.
And the bottom of the stand/saucer has rougher structure.
The rest of the glazing is fully covering, so it's safe to drink from.

Also available as a more sober version (standalone)

The cup is designed for a double espresso(60 ml), but can hold a maximum of about 90 ml.

Check out this photo of black version here

Inspired by Maori and Pacific Island bone carvings this is the second in a series of Torus based necklaces that feature a tesselating pattern that wraps the geometric form in three dimensions. At first glance the shapes may appear to be simply cut into the skin of the object but when held in your hand and rotated the repeating pattern begins to reveal itself.

The image shows the pendant printed in Stainless Steel but it is available in a variety of material choices including plastic, sterling silver and gold.
The pendant does not ship with a necklace but when combined with a simple leather cord as shown in the images it makes a very unique conversation starting peice of jewelry.

Earring with a head similar to Escher's works such as Bond of Union and Head in Clouds.

This model contains only one earring. To get the pair put a quantity of 2 in the shopping cart.

Not available in Detail material because of lack of rigidity.

The worst ear plug the internet has to offer. Use this size for gauges up to 1" in diameter. Designed with a slightly raised rim for a snug fit.

To Clarify: These earplugs are sold individually, not in pairs!

If you need a size larger than 1" diameter, please PM me and let me know what size you need. I'll want to scale up the hands and adjust the ring thickness accordingly to make sure it stays light enough to wear comfortably.

The printed copy shown is a 7/16" version printed in white detail material. I recommend this material, as it is more comfortable for wear and has a smoother look.

Make sure to specify a size in the Co-Creator Template, there is no standard size for this model!

For standard sizes up to 00 gauge, you'll want this model:

I've seen enough to know where this is going...oh, just kidding.  It's a rhombic dodecahedron.  With an exotic symmetry group.  That's all.  Really.

The design I'm trying to make is exactly twice as complex as this one. This stage of it seemed like a good place to pause for a breather.

The little cousin to my Twin Rail Mobius pendant.

This pendant is designed to take a 4mm ball, or it can be left as it is.

The pendant features an eye to accomodate upto 4mm necklace.

Looks stunning in Shapeways 3D printed Sterling Silver!

After many successful prints of this model in Silver prior to December '12 Shapeways have decided that this model is no longer printable in Sliver - If you order in silver please expect the order to be rejected.
